Swallowtail engagement ring in 18ct yellow gold.
This piece has intricate attention to detail to the swallows rear tail feathers, collectively constructs a setting for a salt and pepper round diamond, secured by the tip of the tail feathers. Four in total on the circumference, allows white bezel set diamonds to be viewed from every angle.. it has a ship rope embellishment where it joins onto the shank. The theme continues in the main part of the ring and has two ship rope knots on the side of the shank. This gives a dividing contrast point to the base of the smooth ring.. (this is to allow space incase the ring needs to be resized.)
