Safe Return Swallow — Peacock Pearl Drop Pendant

The Safe Return Swallow is cast in solid sterling silver, wings spread wide, carrying a peacock freshwater pearl at its heart. Dark, iridescent, shifting between midnight blue and deep green depending on the light — it is the colour of the sea at its most unknowable.

Albert Self was lost to that sea on Christmas Day, 1885. This piece remembers him. And everyone else the ocean kept.
